Applying Stickers

Standard Stickers

Step 1.

Choose a flat smooth surface. Examples include cars windows, surfboards, skateboards, your bunk bed, fridges, bikes, school books, caravans, desks…the list is endless.

Step 2.

Clean with rag and household cleaner. Make sure it is dry after cleaning.

Step 3.

Fold back half the sticker from the backing paper. Try not to touch adhesive side with your fingers. Start applying at corner and use rag in up and down motion to make sure no air bubbles exist. Rub hard and fast with rag to make sure no air bubbles are left behind.

Removing stickers

When you try to remove stickers they usually peel off in tiny shreds, then leave a sticky residue that’s virtually impossible to remove. How annoying!

Stickers seem to come on almost everything you buy? Price stickers, brand stickers, funny stickers, instruction stickers. Kids love them and sticker them anywhere, especially in places that really annoy you.

Why can’t someone invent stickers that just peel off? We do have a stock material that we use that leaves no residue, however it isn't the best for outdoor environments, contact us to find out more.

For those stickers that aren't made with our special vinyl here are some helpful hints on how to remove stickers.

1. Try spaying the area round the sticker with eucalyptus oil, vegetable oil or alcohol before you peel it off.

2. You can also use a credit card to help peel the sticker off.

3. For the sticky residue left behind, try rubbing the sticky residue with eucalyptus oil, vegetable oil or alcohol and an old cloth depending on the glue used.
